Stree 2 : Welcome to 500 Crore Club
Filmmaker Amar Kaushik’s horror-comedy Stree 2 has made history by surpassing the lifetime box office collection of Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal i.e 505 crore. The film had a great third weekend, grossing Rs 6.5 crore on Monday, according to reports on internet.
According to official estimates, the film till now has collected a staggering amount of Rs 550 crore. Globally, Stree 2 has earned more over Rs 750 crore, making it the second-highest grosser of the year, trailing only Kalki 2898 AD, which earned more than Rs 1,000 crore.
At this pace, Stree 2 will beat the next biggie in front of it, the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jawan (Rs 582 cr) only Hindi language version.
